A. This is a very serious behavior coming from such a young pet. Though she is small, this is something I would be working to get under control of sooner than later. Please seek some help from a trainer that specializes in working with aggression cases. I would recommend a program like a BAT (behavior adjustment training) style program. This will give you the confidence and tools to help her work through this issue. Aggression can start for many reasons; genetics, health conditions, training (or lack thereof ), but more often than not it is from being under socialized and not having the skills to cope appropriately with other dogs resulting in a bad experience. It is very important to have proper guidance to walk you through showing her appropriate responses from other dogs and interact politely. Aggression is not something to be taken lightly and can be corrected or managed, but this is best achieved with help of a highly skilled professional. Good luck with your pup.
