Q. Does ovarian remnant syndrome cause extreme aggression in cats?
DR. LEIGH PUSATERI, DVM
A. It usually causes the cat to show signs of heat. Have your cat examined by a vet if she is showing extreme aggression to rule out medical problem.
DR. ANDREA M. BRODIE, DVM
A. THis would be unlikely. Ovarian remnants usually produce female hormones, which balance out aggression caused by male hormones. However an ovarian remnant can make your kitty come into heat and make her more vocal and lovey-dovey during that time.
