Q. My dogs have fleas we don't have $$ for expensive flea stuff but we've done everything to get rid of them & now I'm waking up w/ flea bites what to do

Answered By

A. Pets can be expensive. I would highly recommend getting at the LEAST 4 months worth of Frontline and Hartgard for your dogs and if you have cats purchase Revolution. You have to purchase it for all the pets. It's expensive but it's going to get rid of them. Ask a friend or relative to loan you money to afford it. Fleas can also carry tapeworm which is an intestinal parasite that can affect your pets too if they ingest a flea. Look for little white specs in your dog's poop that look like white rice, that's tapeworm larvae. Try figuring out where they're picking up the fleas. If it's in the yard you'll have to treat the yard as well, that's a big factor too. Purchase a yard spray at the local pet store. You can also look for home sprays to clean your home. The fleas are more than likely infesting your home, in the carpet, bedding, everywhere.
