Q. My almost 14 year old pug is constantly throwing up. A lot of the time it's mostly clear vomit. He's also been drinking and peeing a lot.

A. I would strongly recommend to take him to your veterinarian as soon as possible for symptomatic treatment and more investigation of the underlying cause of vomiting.

The two signs (vomiting and drinking + urinating a lot) may be related or may be secondary to two different conditions. The list of possible causes is very long and includes different diseases such as gastrointestinal problems, urinary tract/kidneys diseases, endocrine problems and many others; so from the signs you are reporting is difficult to be more specific at this stage.

A short period of starvation (max 12hours) and a bland diet divided in small portions and given more frequently could potentially help the stomach to settle.
