A. What you can attempt to do is to treat the cystitis with antibiotics and anti-inflammatories. It may be a different type of cystitis (caused by an infection for example) and it may resolve with a treatment trial.
Unfortunately if there is another cause of the cystitis (for example a tumor) the signs will persist or reoccur and a ultrasound it may be needed at that point to detect the such cause.
