A. Lumps should always get checked relatively fast as these could be malignant tumors. When you go to the vet he will perform an aspiration with a needle and look at it under the microscope, hopefully he will be able to tell you if it's a dangerous tumor or not.
You said she is not using the litter box anymore, if she is going outside she probably is foing her business there.
