Q. My 8/yo cat has several small raised grey bumps which the # increased with age w/o drainage. What are they?
DAVID ELBEZE, DVM, MRCVS
A. When you say without drainage do you mean it's not possible to drain them? grey lumps that are slowly growing are often cysts, try to squeeze one of them to see if any fluids are coming out.
If it's not drain-able I would advice taking your cat to the vet and get those lumps checked, the vet will usually take an aspiration sample, stain it and inspect it under the microscope.
