Q. Our cat is having difficulty in breathing. While she observes proper diet and healthy meals, we do not have the least clue.
DAVID ELBEZE, DVM, MRCVS
A. Difficulties breathing at this age is usually due to Feline Asthma. You will need to go to the vet to get her checked in order to diagnose the problem.
If it's suspected to be feline asthma medication will be prescribed, especially for periods when the problem is at it's worse.
If feline asthma is ruled out, an X-ray might be the next step as well as a blood test.
