Q. What's the likelihood of myelodysplasia stopping once the dog has had surgery and is already paralyzed basically from below the neck down already?
DAVID ELBEZE, DVM, MRCVS
A. It depends if the paralysis is caused by pressure as a result of the condition or if there is a permanent neurological damage. i am assuming a neurologist specialist could probably determine this after seeing an MRI/CT scan and examining the dog.
In general i would say that the chances of him coming out of the paralysis is not not good.
