Q. I have a 7 yr old Mastiff/Shepherdx and he has extreme anxiety and REFUSES to walk. I've had him since he was 8 weeks

A. I would talk to your veterinarian about possible medical therapy to help with the anxiety, a good option may be 1) Fluoxetine (Prozac). This can help calm him down some so he isn't so anxious on his walks.
2 other more natural products that are worth looking into are:
1) Adaptil collar
2) Zylkene - oral medication. Avaialbe only online, UK product.
Hopefully after a couple of weeks into therapy he can once again enjoy his walks outside. : )
