Q. My cat ram in front of me when I was spraying air freshener, one eye seems to be bothering him. What should I do
Vets are closed.

A. She sounds like she may have a possible chemical burn on the corneal eye surface. The only thing you can do for now is flush the eye with over the counter eye wash solution like this one thttp://m.cvs.com/mt/www.cvs.com/shop/personal-care/eye-care/washes/cvs-eye-wash-soothing-skuid-337097#productTabs-5 to remove any chemicals that may still be on the cornea. Then at the vet tomorrow they will most likely do an eye stain used to detect ulcers. If they confirm an ulcer is there, then they will prescribe the appropriate topical eye medication to treat this.
DAVID ELBEZE, DVM, MRCVS
A. Clean the eyes with a moist cotton 3 times a day (lukewarm water), if it's still bothering him tomorrow take him to the vet to get special drops.
