Q. My dog has bloody diarrhea and is vomitting. Has a loss of appetite but is drinking. Got a cool body touch and is acting kind of sick.

A. This sounds like either a severe hemorrhagic gastroenteritis or a parvovirus if your pet is not vaccinated for parvo and is under the age of 2-3 years old. Parvovirus can be ruled out by a simple snap test at the vet.
Both of these conditions require antibiotics, antacids and fluid therapy if needed. Therefore, I would highly recommend taking your pet to a vet for further treatment for his overall care and well being.

A. It is good that she is still drinking but vomitting and diarrhea can still lead to dehydration quite quickly. It sounds like some pretty serious GI upset. I would verge on getting her to a vet sooner than later. Some quick sub-q fluids will help her feel better away and the vet can put her on some meds.
