Q. I've a 15 y/o dog. Still eats and drink, walks with difficulty. Wen do I know it's time to put her to sleep? I waited too long with a previous dog.

A. Sorry to hear she is not doing so well, but there are lots of things that can done to support her mobility in conjunction with your local vet and acupuncturist. It is important to focus on her quality of life and ability to enjoy the day to day things like eating and socializing with you, without being in discomfort. Here is a link for a helpful worksheet which can help you assess some of the aspects which are important in such a decision, you can request a consult here, discuss this with your local vet technician and family and friends who know her well in order to make sure you are addressing all her needs at the right time
