Q. My cat has a tumor on her side, she can't eat and she's been peeing blood consistently. My grandfather says he cant take her to a vet.
LINDSEY EDWARDS MVB, BSC, IVCA
A. This cat is extremely unwell and requires urgent veterinary attention in order to relieve the discomfort which is present. Lack of appetite or inability to eat, especially coupled with the blood loss will cause her to become debilitated and will extend her suffering. Unfortunately, with the signs you describe palliative care or even euthanasia may be her only options but it is not fair to allow her to continue suffering. Please arrange an appointment for her as soon as possible
