Q. Twice my cat had an episode where she ran around, low, growling, and uncoordinated for a few moments, and then recovered. Is something wrong?
LINDSEY EDWARDS MVB, BSC, IVCA
A. I strongly recommend you video it if she has another episode and show this to your vet. It is possible it could be pain related, partial seizure activity or due to anxiety but a video of the episode and the immediate recovery period could be very informative

A. My best advice here is that any type of neurological event like this that is very non-specific, should be recorded by you on a recording device or your phone and shown to your veterinarian for ideas on what could be going on. If you are not able to record the event, then perhaps letting kitty stay at the vet for a majority of the day for observation to see if they can witness it themselves and recommend appropriate treatment if needed.
