Q. We have inherited an outdoor cat that we believe has tapeworms. Is there anything we can do for her. Even with food she hunts daily.

A. Flea control is the most important in this case. Tapeworms are transmitted through fleas which your kitty picks up from her prey (mice, etc). The flea hops on the cat, and the cat grooms herself and ingests the tapeworm-infected flea and thus the cat gets infected. Get some Drontal for cats to treat her for tape worm and some flea prevention specifically labelled for cats.
