Q. My dog is throwing up constantly and acting strange.
LAURA E. MCRAE
A. Your dog needs to be seen by a veterinarian. Continuous vomiting can cause dehydration which must be treated with subcutaneous or intravenous fluids. The cause of the vomiting and unusual behavior needs to be determined so appropriate treatment can be given in a timely manner. Causes of vomiting accompanied by strange behavior include ingestion of poisonous substances, ingestion of foreign objects, bloat (esp in large dogs), or infections.
