Q. My cats eye started to develop a red spot in it which looks like blood and if he does have to get surgery I was wondering how much would it cost?
A. Without a physical exam, it is impossible to determine if your cat's eye requires surgery. Schedule an exam with your vet or a veterinary ophthalmologist. At the very least, the cornea should be stained to determine if there is injury. Cost concerns can be addressed by requesting an estimate for services. Most clinic will readily provide one as a matter of hospital policy.
