A. If your cat is stressed, that may account for the high glucose. It should be rechecked to make sure this is the case. Blood work (CBC, chemistry panel, urinalysis, thyroid panel) can assess major organ function and may diagnose diabetes or renal disease. A pancreatitis screen would also be recommended. If she doesn't eat for 3+ days, she may be at risk for liver related complications, so it is important to have her examined and get her eating again.
