Q. What causes the top of my dogs head to feel hot?
A. Fever or over exertion may cause this, however, a dog's normal body temperature (100F-102.5F) is several degrees higher than ours. This can make it seem as if they are feverish at times. If your dog is also lethargic or not eating, the warmth may indeed signify a fever and your dog should be seen by a veterinarian.
