Q. How old does a bomb bay breed kitten have to be to have their ears cropped like a scottish fold's
A. The Sottish Fold has a genetic mutation that gives it the distinctive appearance. It is not achieved through surgical modification. Cropping a cat's ears is not recommended for any reason although ear "tipping" is commonly done to identify spayed/neutered feral cats. More and more veterinarians are being prohibited, and rightly so, from performing a purely cosmetic and medically unnecessary procedure.
