Q. Dog is 13 1/2 shitzu. Cloud in right lung, vet doesn't know what it is.blood work good.hardly eats shaking at times-mean in pain?
A. Cloudiness in the lung is indicative of something other than gas taking up space outside or inside of the lung. This could mean pus, blood, tumor, etc. You may wish to consult with an internal medicine specialist who can biopsy the lung if you desire to pursue treatment. Lack of appetite and shaking are both signs of discomfort/pain.

A. Shaking by itself doesn't necessarily mean pain, but if you are noticing other signs such as reduced activity, flinching, favoring that side of the body etc, it could indicate it. Talking with your vet about a pain management plan may be helpful. If you are interested in finding more about what the cloudy spot in the lung may be, then further testing or speaking with a veterinary specialist may help you to find answers.
