Q. Canine Rituximab finding this treatment for dog with Lymphoma - otherwise healthy
JESSICA L DESROSIERS
A. This medication is commonly used to treat lymphoma as well as other blood-borne cancers in human patients. However, trials of this medication in canine patients has had mixed to poor results. As cancer treatments are often very specific to the individual and much more advanced than regular veterinary medicine, it is best to speak with your treating veterinarian or ask for a referral to a veterinary oncologist (cancer doctor). They would be able to better address any questions or specifics regarding lymphoma treatments.
