Q. Can I feed my dog cooked corn with no seasoning?
JESSICA L DESROSIERS
A. Corn is sometimes very hard to digest in dogs, so the corn may come out as it was put into your dog's mouth. If the kernel is removed (the outer harder covering of the corn piece) it may be easier for your dog to digest it. However corn can be a common allergen in pets, and may cause some minor digestive upset if given in excess. If you are looking for natural treats to feed your dog that are healthy, things such as sliced carrots, broccoli and even green beans can make a healthy choice that is easier on the stomach.
