A. If your cat has had a sudden change in behavior such as becoming aggressive, it is possible he is not feeling well or is in pain. Cats in pain may refuse to be touched, or lash out at other pets and people. Scheduling a checkup with your local vet is best to look for any underlying illnesses.
If your cat checks out healthy, it may be that something in the house has stressed him out such as a new pet, person or change to the environment. A pheromone diffuser that releases calming hormones may be beneficial, as well as providing him with a space where he can "get away" such as a high perch or quiet bedroom, to help decrease the stress.
