A. Chemotherapy and other cancer treatments may cause some changes to your dog, and she may be seeking the cool to help relieve feeling warm from treatment. It is a good idea to monitor her symptoms and let your treating vet know about these changes so that adjustments can be made as needed to her treatment plan. If she seems in severe distress or very ill, then seeking veterinary care immediately is best.
