Q. How to treat high globulin levels in dogs
JESSICA L DESROSIERS
A. Globulin is only one of many blood tests to help determine what may be going wrong if your dog is ill. It is best to look at all of the blood work as a whole as well as symptoms to determine the underlying problem first, and then provide treatment for that. Without knowing what is causing the problem, it is hard to treat it. Cancers, chronic illness or inflammation, viral illnesses, internal parasites and more may all cause globulin levels to be elevated.
