Q. 5 year old cat...good energy level...solid appetite...no hairballs... She is suddenly sneezing a lot. Should I be concerned? No mucus in eyes...
JESSICA L DESROSIERS
A. It is possible your cat may have the beginnings of an upper respiratory infection. Keeping her eating and hydrated and just keeping an eye on her for any signs of further illness may be best. If she does start to have breathing problems or the sneezing doesn't resolve after a day or so, has lots of mucous discharge, discharge that becomes green or yellow, or she becomes lethargic and feverish, then it is time for a vet appointment.
