Q. Our cat is obese. We are trying to adjust her feeding, but she wines about it constantly. How should we feed her and how much?

A. Cats tend to wean a lot!!! Don't desperate, I've got two and is like they feel I'm the bag of the food every time I show up. Try to be patience, and starting with a very good diet to loose weight like Hill's Metabolic, m/d, r/d or w/d you just have to follow the instructions at the back of the bag in order to establish a daily portion. When you know how much your cat will need I normally recommend some tips:
-No less than 3 meals per day, that maintain the glucose levels more balanced and your cat more satisfied.
-Part of that food need to be gained: hide some biscuits around the house to stimulate your cat's hunting needs.
-Place the water bowl far from the food bowl because that increases the interest of your cat to drink more and that helps to increasethe felling of Satiety.
