A. It could be a bee sting. Put some ice on it, and see if the swelling goes down. Scrape the area with your fingernails, rather than attempt to find the stinger and remove it because you run the risk of squeezing it, and excreting the sack at the base of the stinger, which releases more toxins into the wound. If the swelling doesn't go down within a few hours, you may want to consider taking the pup to the vet as it could be a different kind of injury.
