Q. If a dog is a mixed breed and you don't know the breed of the parent dogs, how can you tell the the breed of the dog?
A. We would just call it a crossbreed. DNA testing may help but that is very expensive. You will probably never know for sure, what if it's parents and grandparents were mixed breeds too???? It may have many different breeds in it. The best way is just to look at it and see what features and characteristics it has from certain breeds. It is always going to be a bit of guess work.
